Jeff Teichert has been producing superior briefs and other legal writing for more than a decade. Mr. Teichert founded Teichert Law Office, PC, in 2001. In that capacity he has filed briefs in the United States Supreme Court, the Washington State Court of Appeals, and a variety of other courts and administrative tribunals.

Prior to founding his firm, Mr. Teichert completed course work for a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at George Washington University, with emphases in British and early American legal history, environmental law and advanced jurisprudence. His thesis was finished and his degree awarded “With Highest Honors” in 2008, with a cumulative grade point average of 3.88.
Before entering his advanced legal studies, Mr. Teichert practiced public lands and natural resources law throughout the west. His work has appeared before a variety of federal and state courts and administrative tribunals, including the United States Supreme Court and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits.
In 2006, Mr. Teichert was a candidate for the Washington Court of Appeals and earned the endorsements of Washington Supreme Court Justice J.M. Johnson, former United States Senator and Washington Attorney General Slade Gorton, County Sheriffs, State Legislators, County Council Members, and a variety of other distinguished citizens and influential organizations. He was rated “well-qualified” to serve on the Court of Appeals by the bi-partisan Constitutional Law PAC.

Mr. Teichert received his Juris Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1994. Immediately following graduation from law school, Mr. Teichert served for two years as a judicial law clerk for the Chief Justice of American Samoa. During this time, Mr. Teichert secured valuable experience in legal analysis, research, and writing, and gained a unique understanding of the process of judicial decision making. After returning from Samoa, Mr. Teichert published an article regarding the role of Samoan custom in the law of American Samoa in Gonzaga's International Law Journal. Mr. Teichert is the author of a number of additional publications and lectures.
